International Women’s Day 2020: PM Narendra Modi Is Not Going Off Social Media; Will Be Giving Away His Accounts To Women Of Substance
A few days ago, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, had taken the internet by storm after he made a cryptic, yet shocking announcement. In his tweet, PM Modi had stated that he will be giving up all his social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, on Sunday, without revealing the reason. This sent all his followers into a tizzy and they pleaded the PM to not to leave social media by trending a hashtag like #NoSir. They also assure of following the suit if PM Modi quits social media.

“This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted,” read PM Modi’s tweet. However, here’s the catch! Elaborating further on his plans, the Prime Minister, in his recent tweet, revealed that he will be giving away his social media accounts to women, who have inspiring stories to share. “This Women's Day, I will give away my social media accounts to women whose life & work inspire us. This will help them ignite motivation in millions,” read a part of his tweet.

Further, he asked all his female followers to submit their stories using the #SheInspiresUs and they might just win a chance to feature on his social media. “Are you such a woman or do you know such inspiring women? Share such stories using #SheInspiresUs,” added the Indian PM. His noble initiative opened to a great response and everyone hailed the PM.
